Across London Sport, we are committed to developing a diverse workforce that is reflective of London – the people we exist to serve.
The foundation of this work is a commitment to the development of a fully inclusive and respectful workplace culture that focuses on the talent and enthusiasm of our greatest asset; the individuals who deliver our ambitious objectives for physical activity and sport in London.
We also acknowledge the Board diversity targets outlined in the Sport England-backed Code for Sports Governance and seek to go beyond the requirements outlined.
We know that we have work to do in order to meet these ambitions, but we are committed to taking the right steps now to support our work in the future.
Local relations bringing together a London-wide perspective
We pride ourselves in understanding physical activity and sport in London, across all the 33 London Boroughs and have a Relationship Manager building relations within each local authority area.
Our Relationship Managers play a vital role in connecting the local areas with delivery partners, such as clubs, community groups, schools and more.
The team also lead on specific sports and activities and work closely with National Governing Bodies of Sport and other relevant organisations.
