Director of Operations
Jill leads our Operations team and drives alignment around our new strategy. As part of the senior leadership she’s also instrumental in increasing our impact and implementing new ways of working to achieve this.
Jill has worked extensively in the Not-For-Profit and public sectors and in a variety of areas, including culture, health and disability. She has a strong track record of delivering impactful results for the like of The National Heritage Lottery Fund, Breast Cancer Care and Arts Council England.
Jill loves to travel and is a lover of culture, design and being creative from designing her garden to creating images inspired by her travels. She enjoys cycling, walking and wakeboarding.
Director of Insight, Technology and Data
Tim heads up our insight and impact work to establish the knowledge and learning we need to implement our strategy. With a passion for evidence-led innovation, Tim leads our ambitions to capitalise on the use of technology, data and digital approaches to support physical activity behaviour change.
With nearly 20 years experience as a sport and physical activity development practitioner, Tim is a strong advocate for whole system approaches to tackling inactivity. While at Sport England he worked as an NGB Client Manager while at Press Red Consulting he worked with clients to establish sport and physical activity strategies and undertook innovative research projects to build deeper understanding of people and their communities.
Outside of work, if he’s not coaching an under 9s football team, he’s probably running.
Director of Finance, People and Governance
Susan is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualified accountant with significant experience across finance, people and governance. For the last 15 years her focus has been on international development; working for Restless Development, BBC Media Action, Save the Children UK and Zoological Society of London.
At London Sport she leads a high-performing team who focus on the ‘nuts and bolts’ that keep the organisation functioning. We identify and manage risk in areas such as finance, legal and compliance; deliver IT and office facilities including ensuring effective operation of House of Sport. One of her key priority areas is the delivery of our strategy emphases on Organisational Excellence and Best Place to Work.
Susan is passionate about empowering others and ensuring that her work adds value to organisations using behaviour change to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Director of Commercial, Marketing and Communications
Tanya has significant experience in partnership marketing, communications and consultancy. She has helped a number of brands including Lloyds Bank, Aviva, TSB, Coca-Cola, Samsung and Reebok, maximise their investment in a range of commercial and purpose-led partnerships, and engaged multiple audiences through creative marketing communications campaigns.
Tanya joined London Sport in March 2021, and leads on London Sport’s consultancy work, commercial partnership development, marketing and communications.
She is passionate about the power of sport and physical activity to improve lives, and outside of work when she’s not out running or walking the dog, she’s ferrying her son around to multiple sporting activities.
