Keeping the community going with remote classes 

Selby Amateur Boxing Club provides a secure and friendly environment to learn boxing skills and get fit.

Open to all abilities, with fully qualified instructors, the club ensures that the community in Tottenham have sessions which are close by and inexpensive.

Built around a strong belief that discipline builds character, the club inspire the youth through positive activity.

As well as learning boxing and staying active, the club helps build confidence and encourages socialising.

There are classes for a range of groups: children from 5-13, juniors from 14-17, adults, and women.

Because of Covid-19, the club needed to close its doors temporarily.

It has moved its training sessions online, providing 10 remote classes a week as well as a Q&A session.

Using Zoom and Instagram Live, participants can choose between Boxing & Fitness or Fitness Circuits, with a fifteen minute kids’ session on Mondays.
