Host Announced for London Sport Awards 2018

5th January 2018

On 8 March 2018 the London Sport Awards will take place at Wembley Stadium for the capital’s biggest celebration of grassroots physical activity and sport.

Taking the podium once again is renowned sports broadcaster, David Garrido, who will lead proceedings on the night.

Having hosted the London Sport Awards in 2016 and 2017, David’s return brings passion, enthusiasm and media savvy to the London Sport Awards.

David said:

I am thrilled to be returning as host of the London Sport Awards; each year, the stories that we get to share from grassroots sport across London move us, and inspire us all to consider how sport can change Londoners’ lives for the better. This year with exciting new awards categories, and an incredible venue in Wembley Stadium, there really couldn’t be a better opportunity to celebrate sporting successes of all levels in London.

I can’t wait to be there, and I look forward to celebrating alongside everybody on the night.
