LDN Movements proudly joins London Sport as an Official Ambassador for the More Ball Games campaign

April 27, 2026

  • Jamie Shawyer, aka LDN Movements, has joined London Sport to help remove ‘No Ball Games’ signs across the capital and beyond, bringing energy and community reach back in to focus with one of the capital’s most exciting sporting initiatives.

London Sport is delighted to announce Jamie Shawyer, AKA LDN Movements, as an official ambassador of its More Ball Games campaign. Jamie is a content creator and founder of LDN Movements FC, one of the fastest growing futsal clubs in the game with 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 300 million video views across all social media platforms.

The London-born creator centres his content on football skills, futsal matches and street challenges, capturing the game in a way that feels relatable and accessible. Now, following his deep personal connection to the campaign, Jamie wants to challenge the policymakers and help London Sport remove ‘No Ball Games’ signs across the capital and beyond.

Jamie Shawyer, LDN Movements said:

“It is really, really important to have spaces like this open. I think without this cage I wouldn’t be doing what I am doing today.

This is where the next athletes of this country are born. This is where the next creatives of this country are born – let kids express themselves, let kids be creative!”

In a recent video, Jamie returned to his former estate to play and film, showing how everyday spaces can be used for sport and why opening them up matters. His work focuses on breaking down barriers, restrictions, and encouraging more people to play and be active in their local communities. Watch the interview with Jamie here.

Emily Robinson, CEO, London Sport said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Jamie as an ambassador for the More Ball Games campaign. His connection to communities and belief in opening up spaces for young people reflect what this campaign is all about”.

This announcement comes at a pivotal moment for the campaign, following the publication of the CMS Select Committee’s landmark report, recommending that the Government legislate to require local authorities and housing associations to remove ‘no ball games’ signs. London Sport continues to engage local authorities and housing associations, particularly in light of the upcoming local elections, and has provided a toolkit for those interested on how best to remove the restrictive ‘no ball games’ signs. It can be downloaded here.
