With just over a week to go until the London Sport Awards 2019, we’ll be focusing in on each of this year’s Award Categories to give you the inside track on each Award and the groups and people that are in the running.

The Technology for Participation Award

Technology has become a part of our everyday lives, and this Award focuses on those groups and individuals who have used technology to help get more people, more active, more of the time.

From app developers to coaches, team managers and funders, more and more of us are using technology to give sport a head start.

The Technology for Participation Award celebrates those that have brought new thinking to sport and given more people a chance to be active across the capital.

Sport Tech Hub

The Technology for Participation Award is backed this year by Sport Tech Hub.

Sport Tech Hub was the UK’s first technology incubator programme dedicated to supporting start-ups driving innovation in physical activity and sport, we believe in the power of tech and sport to change lives.

They believe that technology can play a major role in solving the world’s physical inactivity crisis and that London is the best place to find that solution.

Sport Tech Hub exists to bring together the best and brightest of new innovations for physical activity and sport.
