Free online support for young people to enjoy PE
Moving Matters provide positive learning experiences for primary-aged children in PE, physical activity and school sport.
Their team are trained coaches and experienced primary school practitioners are dedicated to delivering and facilitating high quality inclusive sport activity for London schools as well as in the community.
In March, schools were forced to all but the children of key workers due to the covid-19 outbreak.
This left the majority of children attempting to continue their education from home.
With lockdown effecting children and adults, Moving Matters have been doing a wealth of things to keep children at home and in schools active and meeting the recommended 60 minutes of activity a day.
They have provided home learning PE lessons which include daily challenges and online socially distanced PE lessons.
As well as keeping pupils active they have provided free online PE curriculum access to schools and hosted free webinars on primary PE and social distanced PE.
From the start of lockdown Moving Matters have been going into schools and continue to do so now to ensure all the children attending are able to get high-quality PE and physical activity during their day.
Moving Matters have also creatively combined activity with learning by delivering Daily Maths on the Move quizzes to their community which have been extremely well received.
