We work closely with Sport England and the Mayor of London’s sports division to ensure that our work is coordinated and compliments the efforts of the whole physical activity and sport sector in London.
Kate became the UK’s first female Sport Minister in 1999 and has since championed the power of sport for society. Kate is the Chair of our Board, Labour Member of Parliament for Vauxhall and was formerly the Mayor of London’s Commissioner for Sport. Her political interests are sport, foreign affairs, countryside and housing.
Richard is currently Director of Community Services at Westminster City Council
and has worked within the sport and leisure sector for over 17 years, working for several private, public and charitable organisations.
Joyce is a Councillor of the London Borough of Redbridge
, a trained primary school teacher and a long-serving school governor. Joyce has always had a strong passion and commitment for culture, sports and the arts.
Kim has over 25 years’ experience working within local government and sport across London and the South East. Kim is a senior strategic leader and currently Group Director for Neighbourhoods and Housing for Hackney Council
