Ashburhnam All Ability Cycle Project

Project Overview

The Ashburnham All Ability Cycle Project was created to increase access to physical activity for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). With only around a quarter of disabled children taking part in sport and physical activity at school, the project set out to close this gap through an inclusive, community-led cycling offer. By focusing on collaboration, accessibility and lived experience, the project aimed to change perceptions of what is possible for children of all abilities.
