Using Non-Traditional Spaces to Support Londoners to Get Active: Library Spaces
This case study explores how libraries across London are being used as accessible, trusted spaces to help residents get active. Featuring five borough examples, including family yoga at Roehampton Library, health hubs in Greenwich, active warm spaces in Brent, a wide-ranging community programme in Merton, and a wellbeing programme in Barking and Dagenham, it looks at how partnerships with councils, health teams and local organisations are turning libraries into welcoming hubs for physical activity and wellbeing.
