London Sport is supporting the delivery of the Playzones programme, an initiative that in partnership with Football Foundation,  Sport England, the Premier League and the Football Association aims to deliver the new-build or refurbishment of over 240 multi-sport facilities nationally.

Across London, the programme aims to co-design these spaces with local partners via London borough-based consortia, with a focus on the creation of safe, inclusive, and accessible outdoor facilities that bring communities together through sport and physical activity

There are four main target groups facing the greatest inequalities in access to and participation in grass-roots opportunities. The following groups will be prioritised for engagement and activation:
