Working closely with colleagues across the team, under the leadership of the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead and drive the delivery of our People and Culture strategy. You will also manage all Human Resource requirements of our work including talent, learning and performance. In this key people role, you’ll have a personal passion for diversity and inclusion and be a key part of London Sport’s objective to be more like London.
A key focus of this role will be building relationships with colleagues across London Sport to support the implementation of our broader strategy aimed at encouraging more people to become physically active.

About You:
- Are an experienced manager with expertise in HR, holding a CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent, with some experience in payroll and leading an HR function.
- Build relationships at all levels, including with Directors and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Have a demonstrable commitment to the personal development of colleagues and yourself. Enjoy guiding and supporting the people in your team to develop their experience.
- Are able to communicate effectively with colleagues, line managers, the Senior Leadership Team, the Board and the wider organisation.
- Are forward-thinking, proactive and able to work autonomously, with focus on attention to detail – you’ll care about getting things right the first time.
- Can demonstrate a practical commitment to the values and purpose of London Sport.
- Can demonstrate practical knowledge of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion in relation to London and to HR function.
- Have a lived experience of day-to-day life in London.
