Helping children and young people to live active lives is vital to our vision of making London the most physically active city in the world. That’s why we work with those working in education to promote effective ways to embed physical activity and sport among young Londoners.

Most London schools with primary-age pupils receive funding from the government through the PE and Sport Premium to help get their pupils more active; one of our roles is to support these primary schools with guidance on how best to spend this funding.
There are a vast array of organisations offering services to London schools to help get children active. So to make it as simple as possible for schools to search for school suppliers, so they can focus on spending their funding in the best possible way, we have created a School Supplier Portal to share the ways that funding can be spent.
