London Sport: Stories behind being active; digital journalism tender

23rd October 2018

We are inviting an individual/company to create and deliver a plan for presenting the impact and stories of our Satellite Club Programme on the lives of young Londoners.

Satellite clubs is a national programme funded by Sport England via the National Lottery, we have managed and co-ordinated the programme in London for five years.

The programme offers young, inactive people, aged 14-19 years the opportunity to engage in 30 weeks of sport and physical activity projects with a sustainable exit route guiding them into regular participation.

We are looking for stories that can be used to promote not only the sessions but also the importance of physical activity at addressing the needs of young people, and where possible, society as a whole.

These stories will be used to inspire other organisations working with young people across the capital to add physical activity to their services.

Candidates are asked to submit an application outlining how they meet the criteria as detailed in the Digital Journalism Tender Specification.

Applications should be made via email to [email protected] or via post to Human Resources, House of Sport, 190 Great Dover Street, London, SE1 4YB.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 16 November 2018.

A decision will likely be made on a successful candidate on the week commencing 26 November 2018, for further details contact Strategic Relationship Manager Lorna Leach [email protected].
