Time to Listen is a 3-hour course for Club Welfare Officers (CWOs). CWOs must have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop prior to completing this course.
Delegates need be familiar with their club or organisation’s safeguarding procedures and codes of conducts. Please bring these to the course as reference (electronic or paper copy).
What will be covered?
The workshop will:
- describe how a club welfare officer works with others to create a child centred environment.
- explain how the club welfare officer role fits into the wider safeguarding environment
- apply learning to case studies including sharing good safeguarding practice.
