At the heart of our work is a commitment to supporting more Londoners to live active lives.
To help support organisations that share that goal, we offer the opportunity to commission bespoke project consultancy that taps into three core areas of our specialist expertise.
In the past year, our consultancy service has supported more than 30 partners working across a range of areas to help enhance their impact and make a real difference to physical activity and sport in London.
Supporting our partners navigate the covid-19 pandemic
London Sport Consultancy can play an important role to support our partners. We can help to understand the impact of covid-19 on activity levels, and how to navigate this new landscape by unlocking insights and applying creative solutions to continue to champion sport and physical activity.
We have designed some specific offers below, which can be commissioned on a stand-alone basis or embedded into wider consultancy projects. Contact details are provided for more information and costs.
The need for effective consultation, to develop relevant and engaging programmes and campaigns, has never been greater. Recognising that many are being challenged to achieve more for less, we can support clients to utilise their existing research more effectively. In addition, we can run ‘virtual workshops’ for those keen to develop their approach to conducting online research enquiries ‘in-house’ including ‘research toolkits’ and other design-led methods and practices, for better audience engagement and better quality insights.

What our partners said:
“Working in partnership with London Sport to develop our Physical Activity and Sport Framework 2017-2020 added substantial value to the depth and quality of our work. London Sport provided excellent knowledge of all the factors affecting physical activity and sport behaviours and trends across the borough, presenting back to us an actionable working framework to improve health and reduce inactivity through the implementation of a targeted approach.”
Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames
“London Sport’s help in connecting us with potential funders and partners has had a major impact. They have developed an excellent feeling for our work and have a strong network of close cross-sector contacts: every introduction made by London Sport to a new potential funder and partner has been relevant and extremely well-considered.”
Volunteer It Yourself
“The work carried out by London Sport’s insight team has informed decision-making across the TBTT programme, resulting in evidence-based investment that will ensure we maximise the impact of this programme on tennis participation opportunities across the capital. We will continue to work closely with London Sport as we progress through 2018 to provide us with the tools and evidence to effectively allocate these resources in alignment with our aims and objective and those of our match-funding partners.”
